Stephanie Karr is an educator, writer, and visionary with a heart for helping families draw closer to Jesus through meaningful traditions. After years of teaching pharmacology at the college level, Stephanie felt called to use her gifts as a teacher and storyteller in a new way—creating books and products that make faith come alive for children and parents alike.

Through Iam The Lamb®, she invites families to rediscover the wonder of Christmas, the joy of Easter, and the beauty of God’s Word woven into everyday life. Whether she’s writing in the quiet hours of the night, researching her next big idea, or brainstorming ways to make faith both fun and foundational, Stephanie approaches every project with curiosity, creativity, and deep devotion to the One who inspires it all.

As President and General Counsel, Ted is in charge of all things legal and works closely with Stephanie in setting the bigger picture course for the company and its subsidiaries.

Ted has worked with and for start-ups and fortune 100 companies and has a unique blend of business and legal education and experience. Ted is also a published author and plans to write several more books, God willing.

Ted’s favorite movie is Top Gun, favorite secular song is Summer of 69, and his favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11( “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”), through which he finds HOPE in God’s plan for his life.

Madison Mote is a writer and editor with a passion for crafting meaningful, rhyming stories that bring truth and joy to children. In addition to her creative work, she researches and connects with stores across the country to share her books with more readers.

A graduate of Baylor University and former 7th grade science teacher, Madison now embraces life as a stay-at-home mom, balancing her love for writing with the adventures of motherhood. She is the author of Iam the Lamb: The True Meaning of Christmas and Co-Author of Iam the Lamb: The True Meaning of Easter.

Madison’s dream of becoming an author began early—ask her 5th-grade self what she wanted to be when she grew up, and the answer was simple: an author. Though that dream was set aside for a time in favor of her growing interest in science and health, it was rekindled during her college years when she published her first book.

She now lives in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas, with her husband, Canon Mote, their sweet baby girl, and their goofy Irish Water Spaniel puppy. Madison enjoys traveling, going on walks, gathering with fellow mom friends, and listening to her favorite podcasts.

Jamie Ruthenberg is a Detroit-born author, artist, and illustrator with a rich past in writing, illustrating, and publishing. She has published various works of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, including over twenty children’s books. It is no secret that her favorite audience for which to create is children. Her education includes two Bachelor’s degrees and a Master’s of Art Degree, with majors centering on English, creative writing, and education. In the classroom, Jamie has taught the beauty of the writing and art processes to a range of students, from kindergarteners to graduate students. Along with illustrating the Iam the Lamb series, she has also written and illustrated the Miles Educational series, centered around a sweet-hearted rabbit who exemplifies empathy, kindness, and treating others as he would want to be treated.

As a self-taught artist, Jamie creates her illustrations with a number two pencil and watercolor paint. Jamie’s detailed artwork has filled the pages of numerous children’s books since her launch into the illustration world in 2015, many of which are discussed on her YouTube series Jamie’s Book and a Bite. Kallie Karr brings creative energy and heart to the Iam The Lamb® team as our marketing and social media lead. A Baylor University graduate with a degree in Marketing, Kallie founded her own social media marketing firm where she helps brands share stories that connect and inspire. She’s also a singer-songwriter and worship leader whose love for music, sheep, and sunshine reflects her joyful spirit. When she’s not crafting content or leading worship, you’ll find her near the ocean, exploring nature, and dreaming up her next melody.

Canon Mote serves as the National Field Representative Manager for Gardian Holdings LLC, where he leads with drive, strategy, and a passion for building strong client relationships. A proud graduate of Baylor University, Canon earned his degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation—skills he continues to apply daily in both his professional and personal endeavors.

In addition to his role at Gardian Holdings, Canon also serves as a logistics consultant for Iam the Lamb LLC, where he supports the company’s mission to share meaningful stories with families everywhere.

Originally from Houston, Canon now calls Dallas home, where he lives with his wife, Madison, their sweet daughter, and their  Irish Water Spaniel puppy. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him fishing, hunting, golfing, or cheering on his favorite football teams.

Joshua Karr serves as Chief Technology Officer at Iam The Lamb, where he helps guide the ministry’s technical direction and digital presence. With a background in software development and a love for creative problem-solving, he brings structure and strategy to the team’s ideas. While he doesn’t spend all day buried in code, Joshua enjoys shaping the vision that keeps projects moving smoothly. Outside of work, he’s passionate about faith, innovation, and using technology for good—and you’ll often find him playing acoustic or electric guitar, blending his love for music with his creative side.

As Chief Creative Officer at Iam The Lamb®, Caleb Karr blends artistry and innovation to bring ideas to life. A gifted musician and designer, he writes songs, plays piano and guitar, and has a keen eye for visual storytelling. With a background in technology and a love for creativity, Caleb bridges the gap between imagination and execution—crafting visuals and sounds that reflect the heart of the brand. When he’s not designing or composing, you’ll find him doing calisthenics, perfecting his next creative project, or offering his (very honest) critique as the team’s self-proclaimed critic.
